awesome idiom

the idiom "cloths make the man" is somewhat true and this is why.if you were pour your cloths would be rags or other cloths that look like hand me downs. my family is pour for now my mom is the one who makes the money but not allot and with the three kids in the family its hard to Evan get cloths so some times we borrow money form my dads mom. in the news one day i saw some kids living on the streets there cloths were riped and torn. so this is why the idiom "the cloths makes the man"

the idiom " the cloths makes the man" isn't true because of these reasons. if cloths make the man then people would judge people on there cloths looked so.If some one had dirt on there shirt some one with clean cloths would get more attention. in the news some people in Afghanistan look more pour than other when they arn't. so that is why the idiom "the cloths make the man" isn't true.

  1. I agree with you. I also don't believe that clothes make the man. Although if someone does have dirt on their shirt it doesn't mean that they have no money. It could end up meaning that they just came back from doing something like playing a sport.

  3. i do agree with you aj, but at the same time i don't agree with you. when you are poor you sometimes get more atention because people feel bad for you. on the other hand some people don't care if you are poor and they just ignor you. but e=when you are poor people trea you different. that is why i think you are right and wrong
