team building blog

on the 19th of october we went to norval for a team building day and hear is a highlights on some thing my group did well. In the first activity we had to get a tire off a wood log that was atleast 12 feet high. the way in this exersize we had to work as a team and make a pyramid of two to get the tire up. It was very challenging and we had to throw alot of ideas at each others until we got the right one. So that is a highlight from the team building day.

Somethings my could do to improve on on the ropes on is taking our turns on the tight rope. When we were at the tight rope we all wanted to go on it. So to fix the problem we could we could take a number and when it was our number we could go on the rope. It is a good idea, I think ten we could have no muck ups in the line and every one would get there turn. Another thing we could do to improve on the ropes is have more spotters on the walkers. These are things my group can do to improve on the ropes.

The last thing I want to post is the most fun thing that I did when the day was just about over. We had a drum circle. The drum was the most fun because we all got to beat on drums and shake shakers. For the drum circle we had a drum club that travels Ontario and does shows for allot of people. It was fun because it included every one in the circle we did diffrent beets like if you hit the middle of the drum it makes a lower sound and if you hit the rim of the drum it makes a higher sound. So that is the most fun thing that I had fun at norval.

  1. Nice summary of the day A.J.! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the Drum Circle so much. I thought it was a lot of fun as well and that it was cool how just your hands can make such different sounds. Your idea about taking a number on the ropes is a good one - remember it for next year!
